This was 2008!
First of all I would like to apologize for depriving you of the best days of my life.
A lot of things have happened during 2008’s last quarter. Well, it’s not really of a great deal but 2008 ended up good for me.
I turned 26 last Dec 1 and took a leave of absence from work to give myself a treat. One of the things I could never forget was what En did for me. When the clock stroked midnight, she knocked my door and insisted on me going done. I followed her without any choice and there she cooked some spaghetti for me. We didn’t have any cake that time so she borrowed our housemate’s bread and placed a candle on it for me to blow. The next day I watched twilight with her. This was my most anticipated movie of the year.
My parents, my sister, and my boyfriend called me to wish me happy birthday. Their call was enough to make my day.
When I got back to work the next day, my officemates bought a cake too and asked me to wish on it.

Philippine actor, Luis Manzano, entertained us in the morning with some fun local games.
The one and only Diyosa, Anne Curtis, surprised us with her presence in the afternoon with some presentations and raffle of prizes. The shell day ended up with some songs from my favorite band, Side A. They always save the best for last. This was the part I liked the most. It was like a major concert that one would attend too. I was so star stricken that I thought my conscious mind left me for a moment.
I went onstage and took a pose with the handsome lead guitarist and kissed him on the cheek just before I went down. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not really like that. I think it’s just the dormant side of me. But I never regretted it, I felt like high school again.
The last time I watched Side A was 2004 with my boyfriend in Tagbilaran city.
After the fun fun shell day we went to a hotel along Ortigas to throw a shower party for our office mate who is getting married next week. We had games, drinks, picture takings, songs, exchange of gifts since it was also the team's Christmas party. My baby for the change of gift was my team lead. I'm glad she liked my gift to her. It was what she wished for plus a personalized and painted letter from me.

My fiancee came home today after 8 months of being away from me. I waited for him at the airport but not as early as last time. It took me just 1 hour to wait and there he was smiling when he spotted me closing my tired eyes sitting in a corner. I dunno he just brings me the smile without any efforts.
After seeing him I had to bring him to Cavite where he will bring his things and stay there for a while. Boy I felt like a wonder woman that day.
